About me:

A woman sitting on the floor smiling and holding three small dogs, surrounded by Christmas decorations including a white fluffy Christmas tree with a black base and a wreath, in a festive room with a table filled with supplies and decorations in the background.

Christmas celebrates the miracle of Jesus’ birth — God with us. But Jesus came for more than a manger. He came to bring salvation.

Every step from Bethlehem led toward the cross, where love would finish what began in the stable.

This tree stands as a reminder;

He was born to save.

Born to redeem.

Born because God’s love is bigger than death.

Merry Christmas - and praise be to the Savior who came for us all!

Hi, I’m Deb – the artist, maker, and storyteller behind Deb’s Design Studios and the YouTube channel, Backroads Art with Deb.

My work is rooted in faith, creativity and exploration. In the studio, I create a variety of mixed media art, such as fluid-art paintings, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and custom 3D-printed designs that capture color, movement, and texture in unique ways. On the road, I take my creativity with me – traveling the backroads of the USA in my truck (the Beast) and camper (the Love Bug) with my furry family.

Every trip sparks fresh inspiration, whether it’s the colors of a sunrise over a quiet highway, the texture of weathered barns, or the energy of small-town festivals.

That spirit of discovery flows into my art. Each piece tells a story – not just of color and form, but of journeys, places, and the joy of creating something by hand. Through my YouTube channel, I invite you along for the ride. There, you’ll find behind-the-scenes looks at my process, stories from the road, and new works as they come to life.

My mission is simple: to share art that feels alive with adventure and to encourage others to see beauty in the everyday. Whether you’re here to browse my collections, follow my travels, or simply soak in some inspiration – I’m glad you found your way here.

Let’s make the world a little brighter, one painting, one piece of jewelry, and one backroad at a time.
